So you're using the real WordPress, that is the software, as opposed to the easy way this and other bloggers have chosen (wordpress.com): lazy slobs we are! Lottsa work, I know, but it pays off. Good luck with the job, your posts, and, please keep going KD!
I did start with a blog at WordPress.com, but I didn't feel like I had enough control over the site. In the end, I kept the GoDaddy hosting and used their 1 click setup to install WordPress. So, it wasn't really a lot of work getting it up and running. The hardest part was finding a template that I liked and could modify somewhat.

Well, congratulations (late) on moving your site. I'm moving mine from wordpress.com as well (going to WordPress.org). I like that you do videos too.
Thanks Bethany! The site works well for comments now; something that my last one had issues with. I also like the cleaner format with WordPress. Speaking of 'press', you have a rather impressive blog. I'll have to add it to my blogroll. It's always a treat to see another in the community that does video logs.
